DAY 01 ARRIVAL AT DEHRADUN (TOUR BRIEFING & PREPARATION)

Your spiritual journey begins from Dehradun, which serves as the main helicopter base for the Chardham Yatra. Upon arrival at Dehradun Airport or Railway Station, guests are warmly received and transferred to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is for relaxation and preparation for the sacred journey ahead.

In the evening, a detailed tour briefing is conducted by the Base Manager. Important information regarding helicopter reporting time, baggage allowance, temple timings, weather conditions, and safety guidelines is shared to ensure a smooth pilgrimage experience.

Dinner is served at the hotel followed by an overnight stay in Dehradun.

DAY 02 DEHRADUN TO KHARSHALI (YAMUNOTRI DHAM)

Early in the morning around 5:00 AM, guests check out from the hotel and proceed to Sahastradhara Helipad to board the helicopter for their onward journey.

After a scenic flight over the Himalayan valleys, arrival takes place at Kharshali, the helicopter base for Yamunotri. Guests are transferred to the hotel and served breakfast.

After breakfast, they proceed for darshan at the sacred Yamunotri Temple. The trek to the temple is approximately 5 kilometers one way. For convenience and comfort, palki or pony services are arranged. The complete darshan including travel usually takes around five hours.

In the evening, guests may visit the ancient Shani Temple and explore the peaceful surroundings of Kharshali village. Overnight stay is arranged at Kharshali.

DAY 03 KHARSHALI TO HARSHIL (GANGOTRI DHAM)

After an early breakfast, guests check out and board the helicopter to Harshil, which serves as the base for Gangotri Dham. Harshil is a serene Himalayan valley known for its natural beauty and apple orchards. Upon arrival, guests are transferred to the hotel. After breakfast, they travel by road to the sacred Gangotri Temple. The temple is located approximately 25 kilometers away, and the drive takes around fifty minutes one way. The complete darshan experience including travel usually takes about three and a half hours.

In the evening, guests can enjoy a guided walk through nearby villages such as Bagodi or visit the local Shiv Temple in Harshil. An overnight stay is at Harshil.


DAY 04  HARSHIL TO KEDARNATH (VIA PHATA)

Guests check out early in the morning and fly to Phata Helipad. Due to aviation regulations, a helicopter change takes place at Phata before continuing onward to Kedarnath.

Upon arrival at Kedarnath, guests are transferred to their hotel for check-in. Later, they proceed for darshan at the holy Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.

After darshan, guests return to the hotel for rest. In the evening, those who wish may visit Bhairavnath Temple, located on a hilltop offering panoramic views of the Kedarnath valley. Overnight stay is at Kedarnath.

DAY 05 KEDARNATH TO BADRINATH

Early in the morning, guests attend the sacred Rudra Abhishek ceremony at Kedarnath Temple if it has been pre-booked.

After breakfast, they fly back to Phata and continue their journey to Badrinath by helicopter. Upon arrival, guests are transferred to the hotel for check-in.

After lunch, they proceed for Darshan at the divine Badrinath Temple. The darshan typically takes around one to one and a half hours.

In the evening, guests visit Mana Village, the last Indian village near the Indo-China border, and attend the evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple. Overnight stay is arranged at Badrinath.

DAY 06  BADRINATH TO DEHRADUN (DEPARTURE)

After breakfast, guests are transferred to the helipad for their return helicopter flight to Dehradun. Upon arrival at Sahastradhara Helipad, our team assists guests with transfer to the airport or railway station for their onward journey.

The sacred Chardham Yatra concludes here, leaving devotees blessed with divine memories and spiritual fulfilment.

⚠️ Important Notes
🔸 Early morning Rudra Abhishek Puja at Kedarnath Temple will be arranged by us, subject to State Government permissions and temple regulations.
🔸 Maha Abhishek Puja at Badrinath Temple is not included in the tour package.
🔸 Accommodation at Kedarnath is of basic budget category. Guests are requested to cooperate in case of limited facilities, as infrastructure in this high-altitude region is restricted.
🔸 The temperature at Kedarnath may drop below zero degrees at night. Guests are strongly advised to carry sufficient warm clothing and take necessary precautions.

📢 Booking & Travel Advisory
🔸 Char Dham helicopter tours are booked as per the preferred departure date from Dehradun. Passengers are strongly advised to arrive at least one day prior to the yatra start date to complete briefing and travel formalities comfortably.
🔸 A complimentary one-night stay in Dehradun with dinner is included on the arrival date. The helicopter yatra officially begins on Day 02 from Dehradun.
🔸 Pilgrims are strongly advised to keep one reserve day after completion of the yatra to accommodate possible delays due to bad weather or operational reasons.
🚁 Flight Timings
🔸 This is a fixed daily departure helicopter tour. Flight timings for each destination are pre-scheduled and managed as per operational requirements.
🔸 Passengers must strictly follow the assigned reporting time at each helipad.
🔸 In case of delay, late reporting, or no-show by the passenger, the booking will be treated as cancelled without any refund.
🔸 Flight schedules may change depending on weather conditions, air traffic permissions, and operational requirements issued by aviation authorities.
🚁 Helicopter & VIP Restrictions
Helicopters operating in the Char Dham sector are primarily single-engine helicopters with a seating capacity of 06 passengers + 01 pilot.
As per DGCA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the following VIP categories are not permitted to travel in single-engine helicopters:

🔸 Deputy Chairperson, Rajya Sabha
🔸 Central Cabinet Ministers
🔸 Chief Justice of India
🔸 Governors
🔸 Chief Ministers
🔸 State Cabinet Ministers

⚖️ Helicopter Weight Limitation
🔸 The maximum total passenger weight capacity per helicopter is 450 kg (excluding baggage).
🔸 Passenger boarding is subject to total load, weather conditions, temperature, altitude, and the pilot’s final assessment. The pilot’s decision shall be final and binding.
🔸 All passengers are required to provide their accurate body weight (including heavy/winter clothing) at the time of booking for safe weight distribution and flight planning.
🧳 Baggage Allowance
🔸 Only one soft bag per passenger is permitted with a maximum weight of 5 kg.
🔸 Suitcases, trolley bags, and hard luggage are strictly prohibited due to limited helicopter storage space. Only duffle bags or handbags are allowed.
🔸 Passengers travelling together may not always be accommodated in the same helicopter due to operational load management requirements.

💰 Extra Weight Charges
🔸 Helicopters operating in mountainous terrain maintain strict load limitations for safety purposes.
🔸 The standard permitted passenger weight is 75 kg per person, including handbags.
🔸 Passengers weighing above 75 kg are permitted to travel after payment of extra weight charges of INR 2,500 per kg (including handbags).
🔸 If the actual boarding weight exceeds the declared weight significantly, ProGoHolidays reserves the right to:
  • Deny boarding without refund, or
  • Allow travel only after payment of applicable additional charges.
🔸 The final boarding decision shall remain with the pilot and aviation crew for operational safety.

🔸 Helicopter flying from Dehradun to all four sacred shrines – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath – including return to Dehradun is included in the package.
🔸 Airport/Railway Station to hotel, hotel to helipad, and return land transfers in Dehradun are provided by comfortable Innova vehicles.
🔸 VIP Darshan & Special Puja arrangements at Kedarnath Temple and Badrinath Temple.
🔸 Sacred Rudrabhishek at Kedarnath and Vishnu Path at Badrinath are included.
🔸 One complimentary night stay in Dehradun on arrival with breakfast and dinner.

🔸 Ground handling charges, landing fees, parking charges, and royalty paid to the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority are included in the package cost.
🔸 Entry fees, monument tickets, camera charges, or any additional activity charges not specifically mentioned in the inclusions.
🔸 Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, tips, shopping, beverages, room service, etc.
🔸 Any services, meals, or facilities not mentioned under “Tour Inclusions.”
🔸 Early check-in and late check-out charges at hotels, if applicable.
🔸 Expenses arising due to bad weather, natural calamities, road blockage, flight delays/cancellations, or any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
🔸 Any medical expenses, travel insurance, or emergency evacuation charges.
